VOLUNTEERS HELPING VOLUNTEERS

Several, Selbyville Volunteer Fire Department members was blessed to have met & worked with the World Vision Organization. World Vision is made up of different Church groups from all over the world. This week they were stationed in Pickens - Randolph County, WV. Pickens is a 20 minute drive from Selbyville, WV. World Vision travels all over the world! They lend a helping hand to those who are in need.
Each Church Group was sent to different locations to do home improvements. Their work included building, remodeling, & yard work for Homes, Churches, Playgrounds, & Souls. World Vision Family events included Bible School, Church Services, music entertainment, picnics, games & an Artist Event.
Four of Selbyville's Volunteer Fire Members received home improvements. Beaver Butler Presbyterian (Pennsylvania) built one of our Jr's. Volunteer a bed room. Words can never express the smile on that Childs face. Freedom Worship Church (Kentucky) & Beaver Butler Presbyterian (Pennsylvania) built new back roofs on two of the homes. Grace Academy (New York) remodeled an exterior wall & floor on another Family Home. Several other groups did Home, Playground, & Church improvements in the surrounding area.
